in my comparison is just because they look equal they are not. One has been treated with care, and the other without. But the presentation (like a burger) is made to look as though they are on the same level. Dropping the burger on the floor is how Sony has treated this entire generation... From price, to games, and to online. Then handing it to gamers, saying, hey we are better because it's free. So like the sauce, it's playing ketchup...Get it?
Just because it's free does not justify many of it's failings. Another thing, live has been a growing and consistent platform since the first Xbox. Sony never had a plan or even cared about online gaming. Had they, online would have been an integral part of the PS3 from day one. For people to say it's getting better everyday, especially when online gaming is right now is horrible. If you own a PS3 and love the system you have no choice ...
Bungie is a proven success, so I'm pretty sure whatever they have is going to be worth the wait. What is more interesting to me is what have they done with the hardware of the 360. They must have learned alot working on Halo3, seeing what Epic is doing with Gears series. I'm intrigued, so perhaps the best thing they did was not show anything. X08 here we come!
I still own a Sega Saturn, I was one of those guys you heard about that had the entire Panzer series, and still do (Yes a mint condition Panzer Saga). Purchasing many japanese titles, I wrote letters to Sega for games, I was a day oner. Point is I understand the PS3 mentality of a fanboy. Yet, just like that time, if you pay attention to the moves Sony is making. They are not meeting Microsoft's challenge. One or 8 titles don't cut it, not enough to really put a dent in machine and a commited...
owners even giving this thread creditability? I'm speaking to you guys who own a 360, stop listening to the propaganda. The PS3 has yet to prove any of these claims. A few games, that the system does well does not ground it's claim of power. The system needs to do this consistently across the board. In fact it's this inconsistency that you have to lay right on the developers, and Sony. With the Xbox 360 you have gotten both multiplatform and exclusive games that prove it's the better system. ...
Like I can see myself playing this, and taking a break with Gears of War 2. Then jumping into the new Call of Duty, Prince of Persia, the other rpgs on the 360. There really are a breath of titles that are screaming to be played and loved.
Fable 2 is really my favorite out of everything. I'll be reaching out to some of you guys for gamertags in a bit. Just don't kill my wife and kids....lol
Everyone judges games at events like this blogger did. They have done it with so many games through out gaming history. It is not done! You are playing a game in pre alpha? WTF?
The other thing also is, the graphics granted are really good looking. Yet what kind of experience are we going to get with the game? What locales, vehicles, challenges, and enviornments are we going to get? That's what concerns me. I will not even compare Killzone 2 to Gears of War 2 as games, because ...
With fanboys is that they speak from a place of hate as opposed to knowledge. How can you say the UE engine is maxed out when most of the games using it are early sequels and because of sales are following the style of Epic and Gears of War.
The UE 3 is capable of many different styles depending on the DEVELOPERS. How many great developers out there? How much money does it take to make a game?
Folks want to use Killzone 2 as a barometer, but that game has been i...
You...Me and my freinds play both NBA games (live, 2k). Online game forums are always packed on every difficulty level or play style. I hope both titles just improve on game play, instead of just making miner updates. Live needs more animation, and fluid game play. 2k needs more variety in it's execution of style on the court. Players play way to similar, and you don't really get the feel that you are playing with unique players and teams. The fact that Live will have that DNA system is so hu...
to be honest is not a title that the Xbox 360 needs to be a dominant gaming platform. In fact there are way too many good games on the system, as well as coming out that I personally care about. If you are fan of Konami, and Kojima then I feel you. Yet getting MGS4 would just be for bragging rights more than anything. It moved some systems and sold decent, but it's not Gears of War, or Halo so really whatever. I think it sold similar #'s to Mass Effect I believe. So it puts itself in pretty g...
I rather put myself in M$ position thinking about how much money they spent trying to get Japan. When they could have invested in other regions. I mean it's pretty clear of all three regions, gaming is not growing anymore in Japan. This comes from the mouth of its own developers. So it just really isn't in the best interest to have the game come out. Spend money on marketing, and promotions.
They did the right thing. Unfortunate, but right in the bigger scheme of things.
underestimate the 360 audience purchase power...For a brand new rpg, on a system dominated by PC developers, Lost Odessey sold incredibly well. In fact to many peoples surprise.
It's like Jay-z said...
"Haters no like, but they gotta fucc with it, cause the flows so tight"...
Microsoft, keep the games flowing...Let the haters swallow hard.

Based on your 1 million sales mark then I guess ev...
